At Gleancraft Services, we are committed to transforming spaces into clean, safe, and comfortable environments. Our recent renovation of Pod 2B Bedroom in a Downton Toronto Shelter focused on restoring a room that required extensive cleaning, repairs, painting, and heating system improvements.
The project began with a complete deep cleaning and sanitation process to address years of dirt buildup, staining, and accumulated debris. Our team thoroughly cleaned and sanitized the tile flooring, walls, doors, baseboards, window, light fixtures and high-touch areas. This preparation created a clean foundation for the restoration work.
Following the cleaning phase, our team completed minor wall repairs and surface preparation, including the removal of loose tape and stickers, patching damaged areas, repairing imperfections around the room, sanding, priming, and preparing all surfaces for a professional finish.
The room was then refreshed with durable, washable paint to support easier maintenance and long-term durability. The walls were painted in Balboa Mist, the ceiling in Bright White, and the doors, frames, trim, baseboards, heater cover, and window trim were finished in Kendall Charcoal Gray, creating a clean and modern appearance.
As part of the renovation, our team also completed a Thermostatic Radiator Valve (TRV) repair to restore proper heat control and radiator circulation. The radiator and valve were inspected, the heating issue was diagnosed, the required corrective repairs were completed, and the system was tested to confirm proper operation and reliable heat distribution.
The completed Pod 2B Bedroom B renovation delivered a refreshed, functional, and more comfortable living environment. By combining deep cleaning, repairs, professional painting, and heating system restoration, Gleancraft Services helped extend the life of the space while improving comfort, safety, and overall quality for residents.
